April 15, 2015

Spartan Chemical Company, a recognized leader in the formulation and manufacture of sustainable cleaning and sanitation solutions for the industrial and institutional market, announced that the company has been selected as HP Products 2014 Supplier of the Year and that Matt Ward was named HP Products 2014 Supplier Representative of the Year.

Spartan Chemical Company was named HP's Supplier of the Year for 2014 based on overall growth rate, logistics performance, on-time deliveries, completeness of orders, sales support, and overall profit return to HP Products.

"Spartan partners with us to train our people and conduct field visits," said Jim Smith, Executive Vice President at HP Products. "They also continually work with us on national accounts, helping us grow this important segment of our business."

In addition to the company's recognition, Matt Ward was honored as Supplier Representative of the Year. Given to a supplier representative that contributes to overall growth and support of HP's staff, the award is also based on feedback from the sales field organization and management.

"Matt has done a terrific job in supporting our people and is always actively willing and ready to help develop new and existing business," said Smith. "We sincerely appreciate all that he does and we're more than happy to honor him with this award!"

The awards were presented to Spartan Chemical by Bridget Shuel Walker, President/CEO HP Products, Jim Smith, Executive Vice President, HP Products, and Ames Shuel, Chairman of HP Products during HP Annual Corporate Awards Ceremonies in Indianapolis, Indiana. Spartan was represented by Greg Ford, Vice President of Sales, Bryan Mangum, Divisional Manager, and the following Spartan Regional Managers: Mark Nosiglia, Jim Miller, Matt Ward, James Rodriguez, Gary Ford, Brian L'Heureux, Camila Salazar, and Rick Molnar.

About HP Products
Ames Shuel purchased H.P. Chemical in 1964 with the vision to establish a janitorial company that would provide the best products available, the best services and support possible, at competitive prices. HP began with just two full-time and three part-time employees, making deliveries with only one van. The company's home was located in downtown Indianapolis, 20 West Washington Street.

HP Products has succeeded because we have kept our promises: the best products, the best services, at competitive prices. Times have changed, but our commitment to customer service has not. Although our product and equipment offerings have greatly expanded, we continue to research new and innovative ideas that will increase our market share and assist our customers with their cost-reduction programs.
