PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Spartan’s AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner is specifically formulated to clean natural hardwood floors without product buildup, harsh detergents or ammonia. Removes dirt and can be used daily as part of a scheduled maintenance program. AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner can also be used as a pre-cleaner during the finishing or re-coating process. AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner is an integral step to Spartan’s AquaSport professional waterborne wood floor care program.

SAVES TIME AND LABOR:
Quick to dry, and no rinsing required makes AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner a time and labor saving product. A beneficial product to any well-sealed professional waterborne wood floor maintenance program.

FOUR-IN-ONE APPLICATIONS:
Various solutions with different dilutions are possible with AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner. Use as a maintenance cleaner, spot cleaner, tack rag cleaner, or pre-finish treatment. Use on all types of sealed, natural wood and all synthetic/impregnated flooring, laminates and resilient flooring.

MAINTENANCE CLEANER SAFELY REMOVES RESIDUES:
Formulated for use on waterborne finished wood floors. AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner is gentle and will not dull the finish. AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner removes environmental soils from the soles of athletic and street shoes. Removes greasy food residue left behind from enthusiastic audiences. Plus, effectively removes cosmetic type products, body oils and hair.

SPOT CLEANER AND PRE-FINISH TACK RAG TREATMENT:
Helps maintain the floor appearance with the ability to address just the visible dirty spots. Dilute AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner as directed and place diluted formula into a Spartasprayer. Spray the product onto a clean sponge or towel and wipe surface clean until the soiled spot vanishes. Simply change dilutions and prepare wood flooring for a more gentle tack rag application using AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
IMPORTANT NOTE – READ BEFORE PROCEEDING:
This product and its vapors are flammable and are harmful to inhale. Be sure to provide adequate ventilation and observe precautionary and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) recommendations.

As with any water-based product used on wood, avoid over wetting. Work small areas and remove solutions quickly (within 10 minutes).

MAINTENANCE:
Thoroughly vacuum and dust mop floor using AquaSport Wood Floor Maintainer.
Mix AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner 1:64 (2 oz. to per gallon water) depending on soil load and wet mop the floor. Work small areas and remove solution quickly (within 10 minutes) with auto scrubber, making sure vacuum and squeegee are picking up the solution. Have a second person spot check and pick up any solution not picked up by the auto scrubber.
For periodic (weekly) removal of AquaSport Wood Floor Maintainer residue, or to remove heavy soil build up, mix 1:6 (21 oz. per gallon of water). Moisten a clean cotton towel and tack floor. Keep a clean edge and change towel often. Do not attempt to clean the dirty towel in AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner solution and reuse – use a clean towel.

HOW TO DAMP MOP A GYMNASIUM FLOOR OR ANY OTHER LARGE WOOD FLOOR AREA IN APPROXIMATELY 35 MINUTES:
The following tools will be needed for this procedure:
· Spartan's AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner, a 36" or 48" flat frame and handle
· Several cotton mop heads
· One (1) two quart pump-up Spartasprayer
· One (1) putty knife (to remove gum or other sticky substances prior to mopping)
· One (1) mop bucket and a wringer

To begin, fill a mop bucket with three gallons of clean water, add 2-3 oz. per gallon of AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner (depending on the soil load of the floor). Place the flat mop heads into the mop bucket. Fill the two-quart Spartasprayer with AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner also mixed at 2-3 oz. per gallon. Wring the mop head out as dry as possible.

Start at one end of the floor laying the mop head on the floor and placing the flat frame on the head. As you push the mop the length of the gym floor, spray the area in front of the mop with the Spartasprayer, just enough to keep the mop wet. When you reach the other end of the area or gymnasium, make a turn keeping the same leading edge. Overlap your second pass one or two inches.
On completion of the first full pass down and back, knock any loose particles off the leading edge. Turn the mop, use the trailing edge now as your leading edge, and make another pass down and back. You will get four complete passes per mop head (with a 36" mop head, you will cover a path twelve feet wide with each mop head).

After four complete passes down and back, remove that mop head by rolling it over itself so the sand and grit trapped in the fibers does not fall on the floor. Take the other clean mop head out of the bucket, wring it as dry as possible, and continue until the entire floor is clean. If the bleachers or other structures need cleaning, they can be cleaned quickly and easily with AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner at the same dilution using a l2" mop head.

This cleaning procedure for large areas and gym floors is extremely time efficient - a real time saver for maintenance people plus, a big dollar saver in maintenance time and material costs for schools and facilities. Many schools and facilities must refinish their floors every summer due to grit and sand, which is ground into the surface. Regular damp mopping with AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner will extend the life of the finish, reducing the frequency of this operation.

One of the many benefits of AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner is that it dries quickly. This same procedure can be used for hallways and any other surfaces that must dry promptly.

Spot Cleaner:
1. Spot vacuum or dust mop area using AquaSport Wood Floor Maintainer.
2. Dilute AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner 1:8 (16 oz. per gallon of water).
3. Place diluted product into a Spartasprayer.
4. Moisten a clean Turkish towel with diluted product.
5. Wipe until spot is removed.
6. Always use clean towels.

Pre-Finish Treatment:
1. Thoroughly vacuum overhead structures, sills, stages, entranceways, surrounding structures and areas – vacuum the floor last.
2. Mix AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner 1:6 with water in a bucket (21 oz. per gallon).
3. Tack floor with Turkish (cotton) lint-free towels immersed in AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner solution and completely wring out. Change towels often. Keep a clean edge. Do not attempt to clean a dirty towel in AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner solution. Do not reuse soiled solution. Work from a small, clean one-gallon pail. Wearing rubber gloves, fill pail about half full of solution. Dip clean towel in solution, then wring out completely. Avoid spilling or saturating areas on floor.
4. Allow floor to dry completely before proceeding with coating. Be sure to check corners, baseboards, etc. for dryness.

Stability:
NOTE: A typical high school basketball court is 4,200 square feet (playing area only). Outside court boundaries will significantly add to this.

AquaSport Wood Floor Cleaner is available in recyclable HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) 55, 30 and 15-gallon drums; 5-gallon pails and gallons, four per case. Label copy is provided in English, Spanish, and French.
