Special Fire Fighting Procedures:
Water may be used to cool closed containers to prevent pressure build-up and possible autoignition or explosion when exposed to fire or extreme heat. Use equipment or shielding as required to protect personnel from bursting rupturing or venting containers. Wear a full face positive pressure self contained breathing apparatus when fighting fires.
Unusual Fire & Explosive Hazards:
Extremely flammable. Material is highly volatile and readily gives off vapors which may travel along the ground or move by ventilation and be ignited by ignition sources such as pilot lights, other flames, sparks, heaters, smoking, electric motors or static discharge distant from the handling point.
